My First Fruit Smoothie!

I’m constantly looking to see how I can get the best out of myself and increase my fitness and health within the amount the same time that I’ve been given to get everything done. I’m planning to start supplementing my protein using powdered whey and blending it into fruit smoothies or milkshakes. I just recently bought a blender. I’m still researching the benefits and deficits of supplementing protein. However, I wanted to start the smoothie-making off early and add it to my morning routine.

I actually tried this myself. Here’s a picture of what it looked like at the beginning.

When I went to sample my first fruit smoothie, sadly it spilt all across the stove to the right of the blender. 🙁 I was still able to get enough to have a cup-full. I made this smoothie without honey for sweetner and yogurt for thickening. I think those two ingredients are necessary for longevity — they make it taste a lot better. I’m going to try Yoplait Greek yogurt because it has between 8 and 12 grams of protein per container.

There you have it! Well, I’m going to try to post on this again once I’ve figured out the protein supplementing part. 🙂
